Principal's Welcome

Dear GRMS Family of Friends,
Guadalupe Regional Middle School is excited to begin a new school year with many new faces on campus. The school has welcomed new students to the campus from the community of Brownsville and from our sister school, Incarnate Word Academy. All these students and families recognize the importance of continuing their Catholic education and we are happy to share in the development of our faith together. Our enrollment continues to improve and we are open enrollment throughout the school year, ready to serve more students at our fantastic school. Please invite a family to join us at GRMS today!
The school was a recent recipient of a large federal grant which contributed to the increase in educational technology on campus and in our classrooms. Our students and staff are now proficient in the usage of a tremendous amount of innovative technology devices that enhance learning for the modern-era student. Interactive panels, digital cameras, video graphic media, graphing calculators, iPads that are connected to educational applications and online textbooks are just a few ways the student are using technology to improve their learning beyond the traditional power points and word documents. Google Classrooms, uploaded media and assignments are now the norm beyond notebook paper and handouts for GRMS students. Through this grant the school has increased their presence in the world of technology and its place in education. Our students are learning early on how to manage through multiple devices and applications that will have them ahead of peers in the future. I invite you to follow our ongoing publications of the great things happening at GRMS on our Facebook account.
Guadalupe Regional Middle School remains committed to providing a rigorous curriculum that best prepares students for their high school and post secondary school years. Many GRMS Graduates continue to excel in their respective high school choices, with many being at the top of their grade cohorts and going on to receive scholarships both in state and out of state. Our Graduate Support Program remains a constant support to these GRMS Alumni so that we can continue to be part of their ongoing success. Our eleven-year commitment begins on campus, but it continues through high school and beyond into universities, and into providing connections for job opportunities. This ongoing relationship brings validity to our saying that, "Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat!" The generations of GRMS Alumni can attest to this longevity of love and support.
Without our community of donors, God's special school could not continue. We graciously recognize all our community of donors, our three Founding Religious Congregations who remain dedicated to supporting our school. The Edmund Rice Christian Brothers, the Marist Brothers, and the Order of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament are the visionaries of this school. We thank their Trustees, our local Board of Trustees, the Society of Guadalupe Donors, our parents, our faculty and staff, and our students! Together we all contribute to the ongoing success at GRMS; one year at a time, one student at a time.
Thank you for supporting the mission of Guadalupe Regional Middle School, for doing your part, and most importantly, for answering God’s call to make a Catholic education available to all His children.
Live Jesus in our Hearts, Forever!
