Do you have a passion for education or helping young people reach their potential? Guadalupe Regional Middle School is searching for tutors in both math, language arts, science, and social studies.

This could be a fantastic opportunity for people hoping to become educators, work in non-profit organizations, or those who enjoy building up youth and community. This could also be great for retired or part-time teachers, folks with a degree in a related content area, those thinking about making a career change into education.

We do ask that volunteers commit to being punctual, keeping an open line of communication with our principal,

and completing a full tutoring cycle. 

Choose what works best for your schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:45p-4:30p

• Tuesdays & Thursdays only from 4:30p-6:30p

Are the times ok but not all the required days? Call us to arrange a special schedule. 

Tutors will work one-on-one with students and in small groups. All materials will be provided or can be requested. No experience necessary.

Volunteers will need to:

• Complete a volunteer application in-person

• Read and agree to a Code of Conduct

• Watch a 1-hour video on Protecting God's Children (necessary for all Catholic school volunteers and is transferrable to other schools in the Diocese of Brownsville)

• Complete a background check (GRMS will pay for this)
